Retort Processing and Heat Resistance Notes — Retort pouch performance depends on material structure, sealing layer, filling conditions and sterilization process. Buyers should confirm retort temperature (121°C or 135°C), retort time, filling temperature, pouch size and product content before production. The CPP sealing layer provides heat-resistant sealing for retort applications. Pouch deformation risk, pressure resistance and shelf life should be tested with production-representative samples. Not all structures support 135°C — the specific laminate must be qualified for the target sterilization temperature. Sample testing before bulk production is strongly recommended.
