- PET/PE (most common for general liquid beverage packaging; good print surface and sealing), PET/VMPET/PE (improved light and moisture barrier with metallic finish for premium drink brands), PET/AL/NY/PE (high-barrier retort-grade for shelf-stable drinks), PA/PE (puncture resistance and flexibility for larger volume liquid packs). Final structure should be confirmed based on liquid type, filling temperature, shelf life, sterilization method and transport condition.
- Each batch undergoes seal strength test (ASTM F88), leakage test (vacuum or pressure method), drop test from specified height, spout welding integrity inspection, filling compatibility check and visual appearance inspection. Retort or heat resistance test conducted when sterilization is required. Pre-shipment inspection with retained batch samples.
