Start with packing-machine compatibility

Roll film is formed, filled and sealed on compatible VFFS, HFFS, stick-pack or flow-wrap equipment. Premade pouches arrive converted and require manual, semi-automatic or rotary equipment that can pick, detect, open, fill and top-seal the exact pouch construction.

What premade pouches include

Premade pouches may include stand up pouches, flat bottom pouches, three side seal pouches, side gusset bags and spout pouches. Each format has different feeding, opening, top-seal and accessory-position limits, so buyers should confirm the construction drawing and intended filling equipment.

Compare cost per saleable pack

Rollstock is not automatically cheaper. Compare material, pouch conversion, labor, equipment time, startup waste, rejects, cleaning, downtime and changeovers. Use stable line-trial output with the real product instead of comparing film or pouch unit price alone.

Specifications and China OEM handover

For roll film confirm width, repeat, unwind, reel diameter and weight, core ID, eye mark, splice policy, COF and sealing window. For premade pouches confirm flat and filled dimensions, gusset, orientation, magazine limits, opening behavior, top-seal clearance, accessories and tolerances. For China OEM handover, align the approved sample, receiving label, machine contact, trial owner, acceptance criteria and change-control contact.
