Technical Specifications
- BOPP/CPP (lightweight candy flow wrap with good transparency and machinability). PET/PE (stronger sealing and good print surface for general candy packaging). PET/VMPET/PE (improved light and moisture barrier for premium confectionery and longer shelf life). PET/AL/PE (higher aroma and oxygen protection for sensitive candy products). Cold seal film (no-heat sealing for chocolate and heat-sensitive candy products; cold seal structure should be confirmed based on product and machine). Final structure confirmed based on candy type, oil content, shelf life target and packing machine type.
- Hard candy: BOPP/CPP or PET/PE for twist wrap or flow pack. Jelly candy: PET/PE or PET/VMPET/PE with moisture barrier. Chocolate flow pack: cold seal film for heat-sensitive chocolate products. Lollipop packaging: BOPP/CPP with twist wrap or flow pack format. Chewing gum: BOPP/CPP or PET/PE for pillow pack or stick pack. Small sachet candy: PET/PE or BOPP/CPP for single-serve formats.
- Each batch undergoes eye mark accuracy check, cutting accuracy verification, film tension stability test, sealing temperature window verification, print registration inspection, candy sticking risk evaluation and moisture barrier test. Pre-shipment inspection with retained batch samples. ISO22000 certified production.
- MOQ depends on film width, repeat length, material structure, printing colors and order quantity (typically from 300 kg for gravure printing). Cold seal and high-barrier structures may have different cost profiles. Packing machine compatibility should be checked before mass production. For accurate quotation, please send candy type, packing machine model, roll width, repeat length, material requirement, printing colors, quantity and artwork.
- Roll Weight per Reel โ Candy packaging film does not have one fixed kg per roll. Confirm the packing machine maximum roll weight, core ID and maximum roll diameter first. Estimate net film weight from web width, laminate thickness, material density and roll length, then include the core and packing tolerance when confirming gross finished-roll weight.
- Candy type (hard candy/jelly/chocolate/lollipop/gum), packing machine brand and model, roll width and repeat length, material structure preference, sealing requirement (heat seal or cold seal), printing colors and artwork file, estimated order quantity, shelf life requirement, target market or China OEM handover requirement.
- Food Packaging Roll Film, Snack Packaging Roll Film, Biscuit Packaging Film, Three Side Seal Pouch.
- Q: Should candy packaging use cold seal or heat seal film? A: Cold seal film is commonly used for heat-sensitive chocolate. Heat seal film works well for hard candy, jelly candy and general candy products. The sealing method should match the product and packing machine. Q: What information is needed for a candy packaging film quotation? A: Buyers should confirm candy type, roll width, repeat length, material structure, sealing method, printing colors, quantity and packing machine requirements.

Buyer Notes
- Provide product type, bag size or roll width โ a photo or sample helps quick assessment
- If material structure or thickness is known, include specification
- Number of printing colors and artwork file affect cylinder cost and prepress time
- Packing machine type (VFFS/HFFS/manual) determines roll film vs premade pouch choice
- Target market compliance, China OEM filling requirements or nominated domestic warehouse handover details help confirm the final specification

Can Huasheng Packaging provide samples?
Yes. Existing production samples can be provided for material and workmanship reference. Custom printed samples, structure samples or pre-production samples should be confirmed by project according to artwork, size, material and printing colors. Sample method, timing and cost are confirmed before order placement.
What is the lead time for custom packaging orders?
Typical lead time is 15-25 working days after artwork confirmation and deposit receipt. Exact lead time depends on material structure, order quantity, printing complexity and current production schedule.
What material structure should I choose?
Material structure depends on product type (dry, oily, frozen, liquid, high-temperature), shelf life requirements and packaging machine type. Common options include PET/PE, PET/VMPET/PE, BOPP/CPP, NY/PE and kraft paper laminates. We can recommend suitable structures based on your product details.
What is the difference between roll film and premade pouch?
Roll film is printed laminated film supplied on rolls for automatic packing machines (VFFS/HFFS), where filling, forming and sealing happen on one machine. Premade pouches are pre-formed bags delivered ready for filling on separate equipment. The choice depends on your production line and product format.
