Do I need printed roll film or premade candy bags?
Confirm how the candy will be packed. A form-fill-seal or flow-wrap line forms packs from a reel; a premade-pouch operation fills existing bags. Share a current pack photo and machine information before choosing the supply format. This page concerns printed film, not candy manufacture or a filling service.
Can flow-wrap film also be used for twist wrapping?
Do not assume the wrapping materials are interchangeable. Identify heat-sealed flow wrap, twist wrap or another process using a finished wrapper and the machine specification. The required material and wrapping behaviour need a separate technical review before production approval.
Should a candy project use heat seal or cold seal?
Start with the actual product, wrapping machine and sealing process. Identify any heat-sensitivity concern and the existing film specification. A sealing method is a project input to verify with the equipment and a representative trial, not an automatic option for every candy or laminate.
What is enough for an initial candy-film quotation review?
Send the candy type, current wrapper photo, unit or grouped-pack dimensions, artwork status and quantity per artwork. Include the wrapping method and machine model if known. Unknown reel or material details can be listed for clarification instead of guessed.
Which reel details should the packing operation confirm?
Confirm web width, printed repeat, eye mark and cut position, unwind direction, core ID, maximum reel diameter and permitted roll weight against the actual machine. Check the approved drawing and trial reference before ordering bulk film.
Does a film name prove candy shelf life?
No. The candy, complete film construction, seals, packing conditions and storage environment all matter. Agree the required protection and finished-pack checks rather than assigning shelf life from a material abbreviation or printed sample photo.
